Something beautiful

This photo was taken for my Visual Arts Major Work in year 12 and the interesting aspect of this photo resides mainly in the personal experience of taking it. It was taken as I stood on the edge of a bathtub, bending over the tub, for over 2 hours trying to take the perfect photo and subjecting my close friend to cold and yellowing water (the dried flower petals also added a strange smell to the water). The tub did not have proper plug, so the water kept draining and I simply took as many photos as I possibly could until natural lighting had gone and I couldn’t take anymore. It was only when I had gotten home did I look through the photos and pick this one out of the 400 I took.
